How do I start a Party Tyme Karaoke Subscription in DEX 3?
Simply right-click on the PT logo on the left hand side of the DEX 3 browser and select login. Create an account by putting in the requested credentials and click the Subscriptions button. Select the subscription and then put in the required billing information.
New subscribers will be placed automatically into a 7-day trial before they are billed the first month charge of $99.99.
What countries is the Party Tyme Karaoke Subscription available in?
The Party Tyme Karaoke Subscription service can be used legally in every country, with the exemption of Japan.
How Many Computers Can I Use The $99 Subscription On?
Only one machine can be used per Party Tyme Karaoke subscription (Note: DEX 3 DJ Software can be activated on three machines)
How Long Can I Use The Downloaded Songs Without Internet Access?
You can use the entire Party Tyme Karaoke catalog, or a portion of it if you do not want to download everything, offline for up to 30 days. You must connect once a month to verify subscription payment so download songs remain active.
How Can I Get And Print Out A Songbook Of The Party Tyme Karaoke Catalog?
If would like a PDF of the songbook (which can also be printed), just logout of the service in DEX 3 and go to www.partytymeplayer.com and login with using the same email and password you use to log into the service in DEX 3. Can I log in to my player with a different user name and password?
You can, but you will lose all saved songs as well as other user preferences.
Is there a penalty for cancelling the service, and how do I cancel if required?
There is no penalty for cancellation and you can cancel directly through DEX 3 – just right click on the PT logo in DEX 3 and go to account settings, click on subscriptions and you fill find the cancellation option there.

The catalog is constantly growing! Due to the nature of US Publishing regulations, Party Tyme Karaoke must wait for approvals for use of the catalog. Currently there is over 16,000 songs available out of over 20,000 in the catalog. New releases and newly cleared back catalog songs are added every month.
Do we have to pay ASCAP-BMI-SESAC fees?
Yes! These fees are for performing rights and are required for any type of music entertainment being broadcast in your venue. Party Tyme is working towards offering an option to include these license fees in our monthly subscription and will contact you should this option become available.
Can I add my own songs to DEX 3?
Yes, absolutely! DEX 3 supports standard karaoke, video and audio files. You can use them alongside the Party Tyme Karaoke subscription service.
How do I know that you won’t remove songs because of publisher issues?
Party Tyme has been in the karaoke business longer than any company in the USA. Their reputation with the music publishers is and has always been excellent. In the 18 years they have been in business, they have had to discontinue use of very few songs.
How do I know the service is legal?
There are a number of venues and KJ’s that have been sued or threatened with legal action over the content that they use in their show. Party Tyme is one of only a couple companies in the USA that holds a license for Commercial Use.
