You would need to call softwrap to do over the phone activation, you should actually get a screen with their phone number when you try to open up FX without an internet connection.
DEX with the KARAOKI add-on will do all but video right now, but by no means are we ignoring the need for video at this point. Keep tabs on the site over the next couple months…
Thanks
It’s possible – when FX is scanning files in on a refresh or on monitoring a folder, you can see the progress and track info as it’s scanning in. If it hangs on a particular track, try removing the track from the folder on your drive and try again.
We’re actually good on these now – but Google isn’t the answer anyway. They don’t account for formating and other things that make it legible, certainly no where near professionally done. Just like babblefish and the others…
RED 5.2 has been discontinued for over 5 years now – antiquated technology, no support for any midi device or newer controllers in general. Time to take a look at RED Mobile – which will fully support the HC4500!
Are you sampling them at 48khrz? I would highly recommend RED Mobile over RED VRM at this time, it’s much more up to date, and supports many more formats and also 48khrz files – which VRM does not.
What exactly are you looking for? The DAC-3 was designed for PCDJ products and is a somewhat basic controller – it was also designed over 5 years ago now and has been discontinued. We don’t have future support for discontinued products, so you won’t see updates to make it work “better” with Serato. I’m not really sure what you expected from forum members other then the truth? The DAC-3 used midi yoke (since for PCDJ it was directly supported as a HID Device – thus PCDJ didn’t use midi as it’s communication protocol) for supporting other apps – and that midi yoke driver is somewhat antiquated at this point….which is probably why you have limitations mapping it to Serato.
We now offer bundles with the DN-HC4500 controller from Denon DJ – it’s a superior controller at this point to the DAC-3. It even has a built in soundcard. There are many new midi controllers on the market that you can use as well, from rackmount controller types to table top.
Choose USB Audio device (Which is the UDJ-1 headphones) as your CUE MIX. Use the fast track pro 1/2 output for main – then you’re done. anytime you cue it will go right to the heapdhones now.
Hope that makes sense!
Best,
Yes, and we may leave the text as such. Really, as I noted, the third install is your “emergency install” – so that users have the ability to install in case of issue when they can’t reach us for a reset. So, even if you spoke with support here, they’ll say 2 installs. It’s the super secret 3 code 😉
Yes sir, but we call that third license your “emergency” install 🙂
Surprise – it’s actually three machine. Why the thumbs down in the thread title? misleading a bit.
