I’ve been experiencing an issue where I have several singers in my cue, and a few will have multiple songs lined up. Once the singer finishes their song, they get deleted off the rotation. I go into the singer dialog box and they still show to be “IN ROTATION”. In order for me to be able to see them back on the list, i have to unclick and reclick the “in rotation” box. Why is PCDJ Karaoki deleting people still in rotation?
September 26, 2018 at 12:21 pm #18679Hello Mark,
When you right click in the rotation list and go to rotation options – do you have either “auto delete” or “auto remove” enabled? Make sure they are not enabled – and singers will remain in rotation even without songs. We have seen the toggle ‘weird’ thing show up a few times, so we are looking into that. Toggling ‘in rotation’ off and then on again does usually fix it.
Are you using the new version we released last week? If not, grab it here:
September 10, 2019 at 11:40 pm #26745Hey Ryan….wow you responded almost year ago and im just now seeing the response…. i must of forgotten. LOL!
Anyway, I’m still having the same issue I described before, but seems to be that its getting worse, here lately. I followed your advice and installed the public beta and it didnt seem to help things.
Here is a link to a video so you can see exactly whats happening and maybe offer me some tips on how to remedy this.

You think it could be that I dont start a new show every week? I host a show at the same place every Friday so I didnt feel the need to start a new one since some of my regulars like that I have a history of what they have sang before.
Any advice is appreciated.

September 11, 2019 at 12:51 pm #26753Hi Mark, and thanks for the video! Under rotation options, do you have “auto remove” selected? Can you possibly share a screen capture of your rotation settings?

September 23, 2019 at 11:23 am #26776Hey Ryan
Just following up to see if you had heard anything from the tech support guru’s in regards to my problem. Have y’all had anyone else have this problem?
Let me know!
Thank you!
September 23, 2019 at 1:05 pm #26779Yes, he asked for a copy of your database file. Can you zip it up and email it to me? rsherr(AT) PCDJ (Dot) com
September 23, 2019 at 9:36 pm #26782How do I zip the database??
September 24, 2019 at 9:21 am #26783Create a backup – go to options -> utilities -> Backup and it will save all your data. The backup zip file will be stored in Documents -> PCDJ Karaoki -> Backups. That’s the file we need.
October 17, 2019 at 9:20 am #26864Good morning, Ryan.
Just checking back to see if you guys were able to duplicate the issue and HOPEFULLY (fingers crossed) come up with a solution to my ongoing problem.
Thank you!
October 17, 2019 at 9:25 am #26865I have not heard back from development yet but he is on fall break (the Karaoki developer is in the UK). I’ll shoot him an email and follow up when I hear back!
