I’m curious what sort of changes to my files/folders would lead to losing my preset Cues/Ins/Outs.

Could you explain how that information is associated with my song files, so that I make a point to not change something that will lead to losing that data?

For example, if I alter a song’s filename, will I lose the cue points?

If I move the file to a new location but everything else is the same, will that make a difference?

Thanks in advance for any insight here.

Cue point data, as well as gain, key, etc etc is stored in the same database file as your track tags and links. If you alter the path to the physical songs themselves (renaming a file would do that) than you break the link in the DB, and would subsequently lose your cue point any other data associated with the entry in the database.

That makes sense, Ryan. I figured as much.

Thanks for the usual speedy reply!
