If you have a License code that looks like: PCDJXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX your software is protected by PC Guard.

I am trying to open the program but a window opens and asks for an INIT Code. What do I do?

The program has not been registered, and / or has been locked due to PCDJ Software update, Bios update, Motherboard upgrade, hard drive replacement, Windows update. Be sure to re-register to get an INIT code in order to unlock the program. Use the registration form below that applies to the version of software you have.

When activating PCDJ I received an error message “Invalid INIT Code or INIT Code not defined properly” What’s wrong?

1. INIT (unlock) code missing a character, mistyped, or there is an empty space before or after the code.
2. You entered your license code instead of the INIT Code
3. You Registered an Old PCDJ version. Old PCDJ versions and New PCDJ versions use different MID and SITE code security. You must download, install and re-register the latest version using New MID, SITE, and License codes to receive a new INIT (unlock) code.

I would like to remove my registration, because I am changing computers or make changes on the actual one and I am afraid to loose my registration. What do I need to do?

PCDJ FX VRM License Removal:

1. Press Scroll Lock on your Keyboard Now Double click on PCDJ FX VRM on your desktop
2. A window will open make sure you select option Remove License then enter your INIT CODE then click on Continue. It will remove the program then a window message will pop up with your removal Code (take note of that) Click here to Reset license.
3. Fill out the appropriate registration form above to get a new INIT code to unlock PCDJ software.

NOTE: To remove PCDJ Blue, Red or KJ email Tech Support (support@pcdj.com). The Subject line must contain, “Reset license code”. List in the body of email your full name, phone number, and license code.

If you have a License code that looks like: VIS-XXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX or DJ Code: VDJ-XXXXXXXXXXXX or a Reference number, your software is protected by Softwrap Security and does not require an INIT (unlock) code. Most likely you downloaded the wrong security protected version of PCDJ Software. You must download the correct security protected version here.

What is Softwrap?

Softwrap is the security technology used to protect/encrypt PCDJ software products. They have their own independent telephone and email support service to assist anyone with unlocking. Softwrap only provides technical support for activating PCDJ. We first ask that you read the following frequently asked question before you contact them.

When going through the activation process, I get a “Page Loading… Please Wait. What am I doing wrong? If any of the instances listed below do not work please contact Softwrap Tech Support at support@softwrap.com.

1. You are on a dial up connection which takes longer to establish a secure connection to softwrap servers. Be patient but if no connection is made after 10 minutes contact support@softwrap.com.
2. You do not have internet connection. Open Internet Explorer and make sure you have internet connection and then try again.
3. Your software or hardware firewall is preventing secure connection to softwrap servers. Try disabling firewall, and try again.

Softwrap activation is asking me for a License Holder Name and a Reference Number. Where can I find those?

If you purchased Boxed CD hard copy of PCDJ you would have a DJ Code VDJ-XXXXXXXXXXXX or VIS-XXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX you must click Activate New license to activate on a second computer or same computer.

If you purchased PCDJ using the Buy button of the Demo, you would receive a licence holder name and reference number. If you lost these, just click the lost license option, or email support@softwrap.com

Softwrap Error Prod Code or DJ Code not recognized?

Make sure that there are no spaces at the beginning or end of code when typing or copying codes. Use the number zero instead of letter O. Download, install, and activate the latest version from the updates page. If you are still experiencing difficulties email support@softwrap.com with your full name, phone number, and license code.

I am trying to activate my Software but I don’t have Internet what do I do?

Contact PCDJ support@pcdj.com with Subject line stating, “Phone Activation”. List your full name, phone number, and license code in the body of email. PCDJ Support will then email you the phone activation version. Once installed, click Phone Activation and follow instructions on screen.

If your Softwrap activation was unsuccessful they provide their own call them at 866-205-6310 Monday – Friday, 4am to 10pm EST or email them at support@softwrap.com to assist anyone with unlocking.
