FREE DJ Software for Windows XP – PCDJ FX VRM

Free DJ Software For XP (FREE, and Unsupported)

PCDJ FX VRM was created by our previous ownership group, Visiosonic way back in 2002.   The FX DJ software introduced PCDJ’s VRM Technology (Virtual Rack Module), which allowed the KJ VRM (karaoke software) plug-in to become a module within FX that could be opened for full karaoke hosting support, or closed if you just needed to DJ.  Cutting edge stuff at the time.

FX VRM was PCDJ’s most popular DJ mixing software when it launched, and worked with three DJ Controllers:  The Numark DMC-1, the PCDJ DAC-2 and PCDJPCDJFX DAC-3.    Of course, in 2002 there was only 5-6 DJ controllers available in the DJ space – well before midi controllers became the cornerstone of every major DJ equipment manufacturer’s line.

FX VRM was designed for professional  DJs, and comprised of 2 DJ decks, Mixer with 3 band EQ and Infinity Kill buttons, FX Module, LE (Loop Editor), Recorder, Recordcase, and as previously noted — the optional KJ VRM Plug-In (Karaoke) all visible from one computer screen.

Since the VRM software line has been discontinued for close to a decade now (and designed under the previous owner Visiosonic), PCDJ doesn’t offer any tech support or future updates for the FX.  However, since our existing DJ programs (PCDJ DEX 2 and PCDJ RED Mobile 2) are for Windows 7 and up, as well as OSX 10.6 and higher, we figured why not give FX VRM away to those DJs or home users that still run Windows XP?

If you are running Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 then please take our latest DJ software for a test spin!
